Matt wanted to use some of his own diamonds to create Kathryn's engagement ring
This bespoke palladium engagement ring features a 5.7x3.4mm (0.24ct) G Si/VS marquise cut recycled diamond. The diamond has been carefully set so that one side is exposed, letting more light into the stone. Matt also decided to include his own diamonds which were from one of his mum's rings: (one 2mm, two 1.7mm, one 1.1mm). Matt's diamonds have been pave set onto the flick of the band creating a subtle sparkle which accentuates the organic shape of the design. Matt really wanted to design something for Kathryn which was asymetric and different, and he really liked the idea of giving a recycled diamond a new lease of life.
