Natalie's engagement ring, with graduating stones on either side of the central diamond.
This bespoke 9ct white gold engagement ring features a 4.4mm (0.32ct) brilliant cut recycled H Si diamond. Graduating either side of the central diamond are six brilliant cut diamonds (2x1.2mm H Si, 2x1.5mm heat treated apple green, 2x2mm heat treated forest green). These diamonds are heated at very high temperatures and pressures to achieve this permanent colour change. Natural occurring diamonds of this colour are very rare, and cost many thousands of pounds and so this treatment process brings them within reach. This also means that the ring must not be heated up to very high temperatures (e.g. by a jeweller during a ring resize) so special care needs to be taken when resizing this ring in the future and the stones must be carefully removed and re-set during any future resizing work. The central diamond has been end only set and the smaller diamonds on the shoulders have been channel set with the colour graduating as they move away from the center of the ring. The band is ~2.5mm wide at its narrowest and includes a split detail on the side of the shank.
