Louise wanted diamonds in her handmade fitted wedding ring
This bespoke wishbone shaped wedding ring has been made to fit next to Louise's stunning engagement ring. The wedding ring measures approximately 4mm wide and has been made in platinum. Louise was keen to add some colour and sparkle to her ring so we have invisibly set three x 1.7mm princess cut heat treated ice blue diamonds and four x 1.7mm princess cut H Si diamonds all on their points. These heat treated diamonds are heated at very high temperatures and pressures to achieve this permanent colour change. Natural occurring diamonds of this colour are very rare and costs many thousands of pounds and so this treatment process brings these coloured diamonds within reach. This also means that the ring must not be heated up to very high temperatures, for eg by a jeweller during a resize, so special care needs to be taken when resizing this ring in the future and the stones must be carefully removed and re-set during any future resizing work. The ring has then been given a highly polished finish.
