Rachel's certified Fairtrade and Fairmined gold engagement ring
Mark and Rachel wanted an antique inspired engagement ring. Having ethically sourced materials was very important to both Mark and Rachel, and so they chose to have Certified Fairtrade and Fairmined 9ct yellow gold, and also a recycled diamond. The band is 3mm wide next to the central stone, 2.5mm wide at the sides and 2mm wide at the back of the ring. The D-shaped profile has more of an apex at the front of the ring where there is scroll detailing on the side. The central 4.3mm 0.31ct brilliant cut H Si diamond is held in a claw setting.
