Shwetha's platinum and diamond cluster engagement ring
After Jonathan proposed in Italy with design sketches by Rebecca Howarth, he and Shweetha came in to our Hertfordshire studio to finalise the design. This stunning ring has been crafted from platinum and has a D-shaped band which has engraved mill-grain style detailing on the side to add extra sparkle and an antique feel. The focus of the ring is on the central 4.83x4.38mm 0.53ct cushion cut D Si1 diamond which is enhanced by the 16 1.5mm brilliant cut H Si1 diamonds totalling 0.22cts which are pave set in the surrounding plate and on the shoudlers. The plate has been set high enough to sit next to a plain wedding ring, and has an open tip design as this was something Shweetha was particularly drawn to from the original sketches. Shweetha's engagement ring has been finished off with a high polish.
