Marion wanted to replace her old engagement ring with a new one.
Marion and Steve decided that they wanted to use the diamond from Marion's original engagement ring to create a new trilogy style ring. Marion likes jewellery with a modern feel and wanted the new ring to follow this theme. They chose a new 0.50ct brilliant cut GVSI diamond as the centre stone and we matched Marion's original diamond so that there was one on each side. The stones were then all set in 18ct yellow gold settings with a platinum band. Traditionally the diamonds would be set in the white metal and the band is in yellow gold but we switched them for a contemporary twist! The ring was as a D-shaped profile and was 3mm wide all around, not tapering to keep that simple modern feel.
