Delicate and classic yellow gold diamond engagement ring
This beautiful design somehow manages to be classic but a little different too. The brilliant cut 0.06cts is round and is approximately H PK1 in quality and has been set into a square setting shape using the Victorian method of grain setting. The band is round in profile (halo) and is only just under 2mm wide and deep which means that is looks very delicate but has the thickness to be strong too. The soft round profile is also very comforatble to wear. the band is made from 9ct yellow gold and the setting from white gold which has been rhodium finished to further enhance the diamond's sparkle. The diamond is actually recycled and was previously used in a brooch (we have a picture of this if you are interested in its past life! It is rather lovely to think that it was previously swanning about on a ball-room floor somwhere and this makes it a good environmental choice as well as saving a bit of cost too. It has been repolished and this time has the opportunity to stand alone in this lovely engagement ring.
