Louise and Simon wanted to re-design and update Louise's engagment ring
Simon's Mum had left him and Louise her engagement ring so they wanted to re-design Louise's existing engagement ring to incorporate the metal and stones to make a very meaningful and beautiful reminder of her. The yellow gold from the heirloom ring, Louise's original engagement ring and two of her other rings were melted down to create the 2mm wide shank, and new 9ct white gold was used to make the white gold rub over settings. The settings have been joined and the metal between the stones removed to make the two 3.5mm, one 4.6mm and one 4.7mm round diamonds look like they are touching, which gives a brilliant strip of sparkle.
