Bespoke Tension Style Palladium Engagement Ring with an Asscher Cut Diamond
John and Julie bought their own 4.7mm asscher cut diamond which they wanted to be set into a chunky, modern ring. They designed this gorgeous tension style ring where the diamond is held in a 'V' shaped end only setting which looks from the front like two bars holding the stone in place. The chunky band is 7mm wide and deepens slightly at the front to allow for the depth of the diamond and to stop it feeling to high. We millegrained a pair of parallel lines around the ring, the same width apart as the diameter of the stone, giving a lovely texture and delicate detail to the wide band.
