Bespoke 18ct white gold set of engagement and wedding rings
Jelte wanted to design an engagement ring inspired by tigers and angels which held deep personal sentimental value. He was worried about the combination looking "naff" but with Alice's help, he designed this stunning ring. When they came in to talk about the sketches he had proposed with we got talking about how the wedding rings would work and ended up making these at the same time so Linda doesn't have to be without her ring later on. The engagement ring has a courting profile and a deep Tunstall finish. The all around setting for the 4mm (0.26ct) brilliant cut chocolate cognac diamond has a highly polished finish like a halo around the stone. The warmth of the 18ct white gold looks beautiful against the colour of the diamond. The wedding ring sits comfortably next to the engagement ring and follows the undulating shape. This ring has a reverse D profile and polished finish for a lovely contrast. Set into the band is a 1.5mm H SI diamond to add sparkle and further contrast with the lively, sparkly, rich brown in the original ring. Jelte's wedding ring completes the set by following the pattern of Linda's rings. His unshaped 18ct white gold ring combines the two finishes of Linda's rings with the largest proportion being polished and then a Tunstall finish on the bottom section in the shape of her rings. The two finishes are separated by an engraved line for a crisp look.
