Bespoke 9ct white gold engagement ring with emerald cut green Tourmlaine.
Steve wanted a simplistic engagement ring design with flowing lines and a tension set look so the stone would be low in the shank. The band measures 4mm wide and has a subtle but effective grove on the outer edges of the band either side of the stone, raising it higher than the rest of the shank. The lovely warm earthy green of the tourmaline is enhanced by the end only setting, as it allows extra light to pass through the stone and lift it's colour. The end setting has been sunk into the metal of the shank to give a similar but more secure alternative to a tension setting.
