Bespoke 18ct yellow gold engagement ring with D VS2 0.52ct central diamond
Craig wanted us to create a classic delicate engagement ring for Victoria which would be timeless. 18ct yellow gold was chosen for it's warmth of colour for the 3mm wide tapering shank, while the strength and neutral white of platinum was chosen for the setting of the central roughly 5mm diamond to create a seamless look between the stone and the diamond. To frame the diamond and to accentuate the taper of the shank three brilliant cut graduated 2mm, 1.5mm and 1mm diamonds have been channel set to create a clean crisp line of sparkle. When the ring is turned on it's side, the shoulders of the shank have been split and raised up the side of the setting to add a little more traditional detail and give a more delicate effect.
