Bespoke 9ct white gold shaped ladies wedding band with invisibly set pale blue sapphire.
Shaun had previously commissioned us to make an organic asymmetric engagement ring for Sally which curves up and round the finger, so a conventional straight wedding band would not work well with it. So we designed this fluid wave shape to follow the contours of the engagement ring perfectly. The band graduates in width from 3mm to 5mm at the widest point to exaggerate the wave effect. An engraved diagonal line continues the direction of the opal in the engagement ring through to the wedding ring, and connects the two visually. A pale blue 2mm sapphire has been invisibly set along the engraved line to pick up on the blues in the opal, whilst further round the wedding band a hammered and satinised effect has been applied to add contrast and a little height difference.
