Bespoke platinum stacking set, with tanzanite and diamonds
Julia had a beautiful tanzanite stone which was set with diamonds in a dress ring she had bought on holiday, but wanted to use the stones in a more contemporary design that was interchangeable. The first ring measures just under 4mm wide and has the square cut approx. 5mm Tanzanite held in an all around rub over setting which has been under cut to allow it to be worn right next to another ring with the setting passing over the top of the accompanying band. Invisibly set either side are brilliant cut 1.5mm blue sapphires and Julia's own 1.5mm diamonds. The second ring is 4mm wide and has all Julia's own stones set in it. The 4mm brilliant cut main stone is in an all around rub over setting which is also under cut on side side, while her 1.5mm brilliant cut diamond have been invisibly set at random.
