Twist style platinum diamond and sapphire engagement ring.
Ian loved the idea of the classic combination of rich deep blue sapphires with diamonds, but he wanted something with a slightly contemporary feel. So he opted for a twist style shank which wraps around the four flat claw set H SI2 0.80ct brilliant cut diamond. In the shoulders of the 4mm wide tapering shank two 2.5mm brilliant H SI diamonds totaling 0.13cts, two 2mm brilliant cut blue sapphires and two brilliant 1.5mm H SI diamonds have been channel set to frame the central 6.5mm diamond.
