Re-work of the customer's diamond engagement ring
Caitriona's 18ct white gold engagement ring was originally fairly chunky and she felt it didn't show off the diamond to its best, so we re-worked it for her. By slimming down the band fractionally and making it not so deep it immediately looked lighter, and setting the 5.5mm brilliant cut diamond in this low 6 claw setting gave it a bit of extra lift. We removed the original rhodium plating revealing the natural, warmer colour of the white gold underneath.
