This 9ct white gold engagement ring holds a 2.5mm H SI brilliant cut diamond which has been beautifully star set onto this softened square plate. It is mounted onto a 3mm wide courting profile band, giving a contemporary look that is also very comfortable. A wedding band would slip underneath the overhanging stone setting area without needing any shaping. The stone setting style was invented in Victorian times and forms the shape of a star around the round diamond - which seems to make the sparkle go on and on. So this gives a traditional element to this otherwise modern design.
