Bespoke engagement ring based on a reef knot shape
Bespoke platinum reef knot engagement ring with 2 x 2mm heat-treated sky blue diamonds and 2 x 2mm H SI white diamonds. This customer came to us with the idea of actually knotting platinum together in this sort of way - and we all really liked the results! The knot makes the design seem Celtic but in a very different and modern way. The treatment of this diamond is a special process using state of the art technology to produce this beautiful and permanent colour change. Natural coloured diamonds like this would cost many thousands of pounds so this new technology makes this ring within reach! The treatment means that the ring must not be heated up to very high temperatures (eg by a jeweller during resizing of the ring) or cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner so special care needs to be taken when resizing this ring in the future and the stone must be carefully removed and re-set during any future resizing work.
