Capturing The Colours Of Daymer Bay For Jen
Jen's engagement ring is a symbol of the couple- inspired by a favourite place. The ring is Fairtrade 18ct yellow gold, chosen for the ethical differences it brings as well as its colouring. The sweeping arms wrap around a cluster of diamonds and a teal green, oval cut sapphire. The combination of the organic shapes and the contrasting colours, in gemstone and metal, mirror the sentimental location in a subtle and personal way. It is completed with a polished finish to elevate the sparkle.
Oliver and Jen Tell Their Story
Our connection to Daymer Bay, and North Cornwall in general, started because we both had family holidays there as we grew up. This has continued since meeting each other, and we still visit. And our wedding ceremony is also in North Cornwall too. We love it there! For the ring, I specifically chose coloured gemstones to represent the water at Daymer Bay in Cornwall.
“Alec was so helpful in helping Jen design the perfect ring, he was to intuitive with each suggestion we had. The end result is better than we could have hoped for, and we've taken it back to Daymer Bay since.”

Alec Says
“Their stories of Daymer Bay and Cornwall was so significant to them. It's an honour to recreate those coastal blue/greens by finding the perfect sapphire as the centrepiece.”
