Kate's Platinum Dress Ring with Afghan Fancy Blue Tourmaline and Diamonds

Made in memory of her father, Kate wanted this ring to be inspired by the walks that they would often go on together, and the lakes and hills that they would see along the way. When Kate visited our studio, we had a look at the stones that we had on display and found this unusual Afghan blue fancy diamond shaped 1.01ct tourmaline. The stone was perfect as it highlighted the colours and shapes of the fields, while also being a tourmaline - Kate's father's birthstone! The platinum band flows fluidly towards the central stone, with each curve thread and grain set with diamonds to depict the running water of the lakes.
