Kurt's Yellow Gold and Platinum Sentimental Ring with Diamond and Australian Sapphire
We designed for Kurt this special ring which combines his wife's engagement and wedding rings with his own wedding ring, to symbolise that their relationship will continue, transformed in to something new. The yellow gold from Kurt's wedding ring has been combined - along with new gold - to create a 7mm wide band. The diamonds from Nicola's engagement ring are all around set using the platinum from both of her rings. A pattern of oak and eucalyptus leaves has also been relief engraved around the entire band to represent their British and Australian nationalities and their time living in these countries. This is accented by two round cut Australian sapphires which have been invisibly set to the leaves at the front of the ring for a splash of colour. The ring has been finished with a bright polish to highlight the engraving perfectly.
