Samantha's Sapphire and Diamond Fitted Eternity Ring
Chris wanted to surprise his wife Samantha with an eternity ring that would complement the engagement and wedding rings that we had previously created for them. The new eternity ring needed to have a wave shape to fit with the other designs, so it was completely handmade in platinum with a D-shaped profile. Chris loved the idea of the design matching the engagement ring with its mix of sapphire and diamonds, and after exploring different options, we settled on having the stones offset and graduating. We set a 1.7mm and a 1.2mm round blue sapphire with a 1.5mm round brilliant cut diamond in-between them. For a subtle personal touch, we've also invisibly set a hidden 1.2mm diamond to the inside of the ring to represent their April anniversary.
