Emma's Sand Inspired Platinum, Teal Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Ring

Robert knew that he wanted to have Emma's engagement ring made from hard wearing white metal and the stones set low due to Emma's profession as a ceramic artist. With Emma's favourite colours in mind, teal and turquoise, he chose a central 5 x 3mm oval tourmaline, alongside two small 0.06ct round cut diamonds for the stones. Robert settled on platinum for the band, which our goldsmiths formed into a curve to hug the main stone. To make the ring even more special for Emma, Robert incorporated the pattern of wet sand as a beautiful ripple effect as it served as inspiration for some of Emma's ceramic collections. The ring was given a polished finish.
