Allison's Platinum and Diamond Dress Ring Redesign
Allison contacted our London studio to redesign her own platinum and diamond jewellery into a modern dress ring. Using a new 18ct yellow gold band, we repositioned Allison's 4 x 2.5mm brilliant cut diamonds and 8 x 2.8mm princess cut diamonds into a diamond shaped ring. The princess cuts sit in pairs in platinum channels, while the brilliant cut diamonds are held by four round claws within the channel at each corner. This unusual mixed metal and diamond arrangement was exactly what Allison wanted, a striking and modern way to repurpose her old jewellery.
