Jo's Vintage Inspired Platinum and Diamond Engagement Ring

Ben wanted to propose to his partner Johanna on Christmas day with a ring that represents their relationship. This pretty engagement ring has been inspired by one of the Edwardian style rings here in our Cambridge cabinets. The design has been modified to feature delicate marquise twisting elements. It has been created in platinum and set with a central 4.5mm round brilliant cut diamond. This ring features intricate, hand engraved details which add a vintage feel to the clean outer lines of the ring. Edwardian rings often had stones set low to the finger so they appeared to be hugged by the metal and were usually set in an illusion setting or overlay to give the appearance of a larger stone. The band width tapers towards the back to give the ring its unique shape and has been completed with polished finish.
