Ailish's Fairtrade 9ct Yellow Gold Grey Moissanite Engagement Ring
Joe and Ailish visited the studio with a stunning oval grey moissanite they had sourced themselves. They wanted to design an engagement ring around this gemstone taking inspiration from Ailish’s mum’s twist style engagement ring. The ring holds sixteen white moissanites claw set around the grey central stone which flow out to meet the twisting arms of the band. The design is purposefully raised to both allow for a window detail when viewing the ring from the side and also so a straight wedding ring can sit flush next to it, making for the perfect set in the future. The yellow gold chosen by Joe and Ailish perfectly complements the grey and white tones of their gemstones, which they preferred over diamonds for ethical reasons, they also opted to choose Fairtrade 9ct yellow gold in their ring.
