Tanaka and Danai's Matching Pair of Yellow Gold and Diamond Rings
Tanaka wanted to create a pair of rings for himself and his sister Danai using a sentimental gold and diamond ring from their mother. We used half of the gold in each of their rings and added new Fairtrade 9ct yellow gold to create two 2.5mm wide bands with a gentle curved profile. A 1.3mm diamond has been invisibly set into each band, alongside a decorative millegrain edge to in keep with the style of the original ring. To make each piece unique, Tanaka chose a satinised finish for his ring whilst opting for a bright polished finish for his sister.
