Tayler's wheat and rose inspired engagement ring
Coltan got in touch to from Canada to commission a bespoke engagement ring for his girlfriend Tayler reflecting her love of brewing beer and pottery! We created a design based around a beautiful blue-green London Blue topaz with wheat engraving on the shoulders containing a diamond and ruby to represent their birthstones. We also engraved a rose on each side of the ring as this is the floral emblem of Alberta where they live. Either side of the setting we have engraved a North and South compass symbol to symbolise their love of travel. The ring was hand crafted in 9 carat white gold with a polished finish and without rhodium so that the warmth of the metal adds to the earthy pottery feel Coltan wished to capture in Tayler’s ring.
