Lorraine's Amethyst Dress Ring with Fairtrade Mixed Metal
Mark wanted to commission a special gift for his wife Lorraine’s, 50th Birthday. He liked the idea of combining a delicate engraved band with a larger contrasting stone and also experimenting with a mix of metals. This beautiful ring features a Fairtrade 18 carat white gold four claw talon setting, holding a statement 10 x 8mm, 3.13ct cushion cut pale purple amethyst. The Fairtrade 18 carat rose gold band is 3mm in width and hand engraved with an intricate scroll design to the outside with simple millegrain edges. The decorative engraving has been highlighted by an overall polished finish.
