Claire's protea flower inspired platinum and diamond engagement ring

Dan wanted the engagement ring for his partner Claire to be inspired by her South African roots. He chose to take influence from the national flower of South Africa, the Protea, which, in local tradition represents change and hope. This impressive platinum ring features a four claw talon set 4.9mm tawny brown round brilliant cut 0.49ct diamond at the centre of the floral design. Leaf detailing surrounds the stone with eight small 1.2mm round brilliant cut diamonds, totalling 0.08ct which have been grain set into pear shapes which illustrates the flowers larger leaves. To further add to the Protea design, two leaves sit on either shoulder featuring subtle hand engraved veins. The curved profile band tapers in width towards the back of the design and is completed with an overall polished finish perfecting this personal flower design.
