Karolina's Blue John, Diamond and Fairtrade White Gold Engagement Ring
John wanted to propose to Karolina with a Blue John engagement ring, as the gemstone is mined in his home county of Derbyshire. After much searching, John decided creating a bespoke engagement ring was the best way to get exactly what he had in mind. As Blue John is quite a soft gemstone, we custom cut a piece and added a small slice of quartz, as a way of strengthening the stone. The Blue John was then all around set at the centre of the design while either shoulder supports three 1.7mm brilliant cut G-H SI1-2 diamonds for a little extra sparkle. Karolina’s engagement ring has been created in Fairtrade 9 carat white gold and completed with a polished finish.
