Catherine's 'Moi et Toi' ruby and diamond engagement ring
Tom wanted to commission a very special engagement ring for his partner Catherine. After working with a designer on a design that he thought would be perfect, we sketched the design for him to present to Catherine as a proposal. This allowed the couple to come back in together to finalise the design. Catherine loved everything about the ring that we helped Tom design and didn't want to change a thing. Tom had a diamond from a sentimental heirloom that he wanted to incorporate into Catherine's ring and also wanted to include her ruby birthstone. They were both struck by 'Moi et Toi' designs so we sourced a ruby that was the same size as Tom's family diamond. Celtic knot details on the shoulders are the perfect addition to the design to reference Catherine's Celtic heritage. The couple chose bright white palladium for their ring and added the gold from Tom's family ring as an overlay detail to enhance the warmth of the ruby.
