Rachel's twist design diamond engagement ring with hidden tanzanite
Dan got in touch after seeing our bespoke engagement ring galleries online with an idea in mind for a special design for Rachel. He liked the idea of a three stone twisting design but with the stones set flush into the arms of the twist so that the ring was special but also practical for Rachel’s profession in childcare. We focused on creating a very slim band with high quality diamonds which were dainty and elegant enough for Rachel’s slim fingers. The central diamond is an impressively bright 0.19ct D VVS1 brilliant cut which we have complemented with two pear cut diamonds on each side totalling 0.18ct. The band has a curved profile and is made from polished palladium which works beautifully alongside the crisp whiteness of the diamonds. Inside the band Dan wished to include a 1mm tanzanite which cannot be seen whist the ring is being worn but it has a special symbolic meaning for the couple to share privately.
