Diane's ruby and diamond celebration dress ring
Kevin wanted to surprise Diane with a ruby and diamond ring to celebrate her 60th birthday and their 40th wedding anniversary. Kevin had not been able to wear his wedding ring for a long time since having an accident so he decided to have the metal melted down to use within the new design. Handmade from a mix of 18 carat yellow gold and Kevin’s 9 carat yellow gold, the ring has been subtly formed into the shape of a ‘60’. One of the curls has been set with a 0.53ct brilliant cut ruby in recognition of their ruby anniversary whilst the smaller curl has been set with a brilliant cut diamond. Kevin planned to present the beautiful dress ring to Diane as a surprise on her special birthday.
