Jude's Art Deco fan inspired mixed cut diamond engagement ring
Jude was keen to be involved in the design of her bespoke engagement ring yet wanted an element of surprise to remain when it was presented to her by Andrew. They had their own diamonds and metal which they wanted to use within the new ring so we created three potential designs, using the same stones but in different layouts and styles. Jude loved all three so left Andrew to decide which one of the sketches would be transformed into her engagement ring. When it came to the proposal, Jude was surprised with this striking Art Deco style design. The focal point of the design is the couple’s pear cut diamond which is held in an all around setting and framed by baguette cut diamonds on either side which step down to create the iconic fan shaping associated with the Art Deco period.
