Alicky's 18 carat white gold and diamond engagement ring
Alicky is a rainforest conservationist so when designing her engagement ring, we drew inspiration from nature, focusing on the delicate patterns visible on tree roots. Alicky’s line of work means she’s very active so it was important to her that her ring was practical and wearable too. Jono had inherited a selection of beautiful old cut diamonds and wanted to incorporate these into the design. Keeping the large oval shaped diamond in the centre, he chose two smaller diamonds from his selection of stones which complemented one another beautifully. Working in the Amazon rainforest, Alicky had witnessed first hand the effects of gold mining so the couple chose to use their own 18 carat white gold, with the addition of new Fairtrade 18 carat white gold.
