Lindsey's engagement ring inspired by the Statue of Liberty

Lyndon got in touch with us to commission an engagement ring set with family birthstones. Whilst chatting to one of our designers about his proposal plans, she suggested a bespoke design inspired by his planned proposal location and he was hooked on the idea! The special spot was set to be the iconic Statue of Liberty where Lyndon, Lindsey and her daughter would be climbing to the crown to soak up views of NYC. So the crown itself seemed like the most natural inspiration for the bespoke design. Drawing upon this element of the famous structure, we designed this beautiful palladium engagement ring which when viewed from the side resembles the crown viewing windows, whilst the illusion setting that holds the round brilliant cut diamond mimics the rays on the iconic feature of the statue. The chosen gemstones also have special meaning as the diamond represents Lindsey’s daughter and her mother whilst the amethyst represents Lindsey and the topaz is for Lyndon.Lyndon had even thought of the best way to capture the moment and the Statue of Liberty Park Rangers were on hand with cameras!
