Commissioned 18ct white and yellow gold textured wedding band.
Noel had hoped for a ring made of a combination of pewter and yellow gold, similar to something he had seen elsewhere. We don't work in pewter, so when we suggested the lovely, dark colour of 18ct white gold would be a good alternative he was really pleased. The central section of the ring is white gold, and has been heavily textured using a variety of techniques (including hammering, engraving, Tunstall finish and satinising!) with a ripple finish worked onto the surface - and it has a narrow band of polished 18ct yellow gold either side. There is a single, brilliant cut 2mm H SI diamond invisibly set into the white gold section, and he intends to add further stones in the future to mark special occassions like wedding anniversaries. The band is just over 6mm wide, and has a flat profile with softened edges.
