Carolyn's Diamond and Ruby Re-designed Ring
Carolyn wanted a bespoke ring using the stones from existing rings that were very precious to her which included both her engagement ring and her mother's. From these we unset the precious ruby and various cut diamonds so that the metal could be worked into a more modern and easy to wear style. The 9 carat white gold was used to create a wide band in which each individual diamond was invisibly set. Carolyn's 9 carat yellow gold was used to create all around settings which hold the larger princess cut ruby and round cut diamond. The contrast in the golds really allows them to stand out from the rest. The design was complete with a polished finish so the metal shimmers with the stones.
