Sarah's geological strata inspired engagement ring

Kim wanted to use her Mum and Grandma's engagement rings in a new ring for Sarah - they both had a really close relationship with her grandma in particular and she knew how special this would make the resulting design. Sarah is a geographer, so she liked the idea of the gold from the ring being combined with a small amount of rose gold to create the look of a vein of gold running through rock strata. We invisibly set the three diamonds from the rings around the band with random spacing and softened the edges to give it a more organic look.
