Carol's platinum engagement ring using a family diamond
Carol and Peter designed this lovely ring with us, wanting to show off the diamond from Peter's mum's engagement ring because it had such sentimental value... and is beautifully sparkly! Carol's favourite colour is purple so we looked at different stone options for the shoulders, settling on amethyst because of the intensity of colour that can be achieved even in smaller sizes. Setting the diamond in six claws and the amethysts in pave settings gives the ring a classic feel, whilst the bright white of the platinum keeps it looking fresh and crisp.
