Liz's Palladium Oval Cut Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Ring
Liz and Stewart visited one of our studios together in order to design Liz's engagement ring. Liz has a great love of gemstones, having been sent postcards adorned with photos of them from her Grandmother, in Africa, as a child. So her consultation began at the gemstone cabinet where after much deliberation she picked out a gorgeous teal oval sapphire that was to be the centre focus of her ring; her and Stewart then added four brilliant cut diamonds, one to represent each of their four children. Each stone was set into an all around setting keeping the precious stones secure. The stones were set in a wave formation atop a polished palladium band, the perfect design to represent Liz's loves.
