Kimberley's Fairtrade 9 carat rose gold engagement ring with diamond and ruby
Aleksander liked the idea of an engagement ring for Kimberley which reflected their Scottish and Norwegian heritage, and thought that a woven design with echoes of trees and flowers would be a pretty and subtle way to do this. The open twisting detail appears to grow from the band, and wraps around the setting for the central diamond and creates little curls to hold tiny bud-like rubies. The ring has been made in Fairtrade 9 carat rose gold which adds a warmth to the design that works particularly well with the ruby and diamond combination.
