Gwenllian's music and forget me not flower inspired engagement ring
Dafydd and Gwenllian wanted to commission a bespoke engagement ring using Gwenllian's family diamond whilst also reflecting the couple’s love for music and forget-me-nots- a favourite flower of Gwenllian's grandmother. Practicality was an important factor as the ring had to be suitable for Gwenllian to wear to work so the special diamond is held in a 9 carat white gold all around setting. Higher carat yellow gold which belonged to Gwenllian’s mother has been used to create the overlay detail which hints towards musical notes, whilst the floral engraving on the shoulders of the band is inspired by the important forget-me-not flowers.
