Helene's 9 carat floral inspired dress ring in memory of her mother
Gavin’s Grandmother Myrtle lived for her garden and according to Gavin even up to the age of 95 she could be found regularly pulling up weeds in the garden. She died when she was 99, just a few months away from her 100th birthday. Gavin’s mother Helene is an only child and so he wanted to try to capture the memory of his grandmother within a piece of jewellery that his mother could wear every day. Helene was involved in the design process and loved the idea of representing poppies and gladioli within the design in commemoration of her mother’s beautiful garden. This 9 carat yellow gold dress ring captures Myrtle’s favourite flowers through delicate engraving around grain set peridot, sapphire and spinel. A polished finish completes this special design that Helene can treasure forever.
