Nicola's Fairtrade 9 carat rose gold engagement ring inspired by her favourite things
Richard wanted to commission a unique engagement ring for Nicola that incorporated as many of her favourite things as possible. The central focus of the design is a 0.36ct round rose cut diamond held in a six claw setting. To incorporate Nicola’s favourite colour and birthstone within the design, two pink princess cut tourmalines have been invisibly set within the shoulders of the band. The arched split band, visible from the side, signifies the bridges over the waterways of Venice- a special place Nicola and Richard have visited together. An intricate lotus flower motif, one of Buddhism's most recognizable symbols and one which represents beauty and grace, is hidden underneath the central diamond. To complete the design, the band has been hand worked into an infinity twist with delicate mill grain detailing which has been carefully added by hand. A polished finish completes this beautiful engagement ring.
