Catherine's diamond solitaire engagement ring with Celtic knots

David wanted to incorporate a Celtic knot into Catherine's engagement ring as a reference to their shared Celtic heritage. He thought Catherine would like something fairly classic in shape with the knot work being a subtle feature so the focus could stay on the central claw set diamond. Engraving a knot on each side was the perfect way to do this, especially as we could go for a knot design that fits into the tapering band, as it's like there's an arrow either side of the diamond, drawing the eye in to the centre.
