Ruby's 9 carat yellow gold and ruby dress ring
Juli bought a very pretty ruby many years ago whilst on holiday in Sri Lanka, so as her daughter, Ruby, had a special birthday coming up Juli gave her the stone to use as the centerpiece for a bespoke dress ring. Ruby loved the idea of a simple design to show off the stone but something that was practical too, so the ruby is set low in an all around setting to offer it as much protection as possible. Handmade in 9 carat yellow gold, the band of the ring is the same width all round to keep the focus on the stone and the metal has been given a satinised finish to add texture to the design.
