Joan's 9 Carat Yellow Gold 'Golden Ratio' Inspired Engagement Ring
Both Joan and Joe have a keen interest in mathematics, so Joe felt passionate about incorporating this within the design of Joan's engagement ring. After some careful thought, the 'Golden Ratio' theory seemed a perfectly fitting concept for the theme of Joan's ring. Set in the proportions of the 'Golden Ratio', sits a 1.1ct diamond and a beautiful dark green baguette-cut tourmaline. This formula has been used world-wide by many, including famous artists and designers. The measurements are based on a theory of visual 'perfection', which Joan's ring certainly exudes! The two stones are held on a Fairtrade 9 carat yellow gold 2mm wide band, with a delicate claw setting. Joan's ring has a satin finish which contrasts against the brightness of the stone beautifully.
