Jane's Re-Designed Mixed Metal Engagement Ring
Jane had worn her engagement ring for many years when the diamond fell out. Luckily she found the stone and thought that it was a good opportunity to have it re-designed into something that was more practical that she could really enjoy wearing again. We used the 18ct yellow gold from her engagement ring in a simple, open tipped all around setting and set her original diamond into it. We matched the width and profile of her new ring to her wedding ring so that they have a really simple look, and chose white gold to contrast with the yellow and give the set a modern yet classic feel.
